Located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux, this Sauvignon Cabernet dominant estate is the largest of the three Chateau Leoville sections. Though it’s considered a second-growth estate, this Left Bank region continuously produces high quality red wines.

• With an excellently rated vintage quality, the 1988 is in perfect condition to drink now and will keep its rich qualities for another decade to come! The wine showcases a youthful nose with hints for bark and black current, and a full-bodied and juicy taste.
• This vineyard stretches over 242 acres of land and houses vines that are roughly 40 years in age. The soils are gravel over sand and clay, and the region’s weather is moderate which lowers the risk of frost and causes the grapes to ripen earlier in the season.
