Originally established in the 1930s by the legendary Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is run today by his grandson Jean-Claude, who maintains the traditional techniques that convey this family style. By keeping vine age high and yields low, concentration and a reverberant depth of quality is clear across all bottlings, especially so in Côte de Beaune’s top sites.
