Domaine Francois Lamarche Wine
Domaine Francois Lamarche, now known as Nicole Lamarche, is a superstar in the Grand Cru, Vosne-Romanee. With prestigious land located between the famed DRC's La Tâche and La Romanée-Conti monopoles, Nicole has transformed Lamarche into a Burgundy powerhouse, taking her father's lead and infusing her own creativity into the wines. By expressing the terroir, Lamarche wines of the past two decades have become renowned for their combination of power and refinement, becoming a favorite pinot noir from the region.
In addition to the pinot noir, Lamarche also produces chardonnay and aligote from its village vineyards, though released to less acclaim than the Grand Cru reds. Nicole Lamarche opts to hand-pick and hand-sort each of the grapes from top vineyards in Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux, and Grands Echezeaux. The amount of new oak barrels decreases each year, with most of the wines aged in only 60% new French oak barrels. Resultingly, the wines have been described as fragrant, elegant, and refined.
Browse through our new Lamarche wines and add a piece of Burgundy Grand Cru greatness to your cellar.
