Product Description

Though best known for their high quality dry red and white wines, Manfred and Elaine Krankl of the highly acclaimed California cult winery, Sine Qua Non, also produce very limited quantities of sweet wine. The 2012 Shackled is a Vin de Paille style wine made from 100% Petit Manseng and it is the first wine from SQN which has had this southwestern French variety as the primary grape. The grapes were air dried for 30 days prior to fermentation and the wine was matured in 100% new French oak barrels of 34 months.
