WS 96 "Intense, deep and smoldering, a young, powerful red that's closed in aroma but expansive and impressive in flavor. It has focused dried cherry, black cherry and currant flavors, extremely firm tannins, but enough fruit to balance them out. Aristocratic. Needs until at least 2000 to mellow. 100 cases made.
