Aux Malconsorts is one of the best-known and most highly regarded Premier Cru climats in the Vosne-Romanée appellation of Burgundy. Wines made from this vineyard – often considered to be the equal of a Grand Cru.

Domaine de Montille
The exquisite wines of Domaine de Montille are renowned for their exceptional aromatic purity and unwavering commitment to balance and elegance over power and extraction. In Burgundy, Montille is a celebrated name, often mentioned in the same breath as DRC, Dujac, and Leroy, thanks to their innovative use of whole clusters during the vinification process. BurgHound, Allen Meadows has elaborated about Montille's artistry in the use of whole clusters as his producer notes about the 2008 Vintage, "The fruit we kept though was of good to very good quality ... our percentage of whole clusters ranged from 0 to 100%, depending on the ripeness and cleanliness of the stems."

Juicy, suave and energetic, offering great finesse and inner-mouth perfume to the fine-grained red fruit, spice and mineral flavors. Manages to be both plump and weightless in the manner of the finest red Burgundies. Wonderfully fruity, round wine with a very long, subtly spicy finish that saturates the mouth.
