Product Description
2004 Sloan - Wine Advocate # 168 - Dec 2006: The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, which will be bottled in January, will certainly turn out to be one of the half-dozen or so finest wines of the vintage. Inky plum/purple in color with an extraordinary nose of balsamic notes intermixed with soy, espresso roast, blackberry, cassis, new saddle leather, and freshly brewed coffee, this is a stunning wine with a velvety texture, an expressive, complex, full-bodied palate, and plenty of tannin lurking beneath the enormous richness and extravagant wealth of this wine. This is fabulous stuff that should drink reasonably well young yet go on for 25-30+ years.
