The voluptuous, rounded, soft and sexy fruit slinks across the palate with incredible seamlessness and expression. Over the years, winemaker Celia Welch has dialed back the oak by giving the wine less time in barrel and lowering toast levels, while moving towards dry farming in the vineyard. Those are some of the choices that have resulted in a truly epic Scarecrow."
