DR96 "As good as the Echezeaux and Beaux Monts are, the Cros Parantoux is the king of the Rouget cellar in 2016, opening in the glass with a deep and captivating bouquet of dark wild berries, smoked duck, black tea, rich soil, spice and wood smoke. On the palate the wine is very fine-grained, full-bodied and multidimensional, built around a superbly vibrant line of acidity which sustains its gourmand core of ripe fruit.
