Product Description
BH94 "There is noticeable reduction present so I would strongly advise decanting this if you intend to try one young. Otherwise, there is good richness to the velvety and strikingly well-detailed medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent density of extract, in fact this is almost creamy at present though I suspect that the mid-palate will tighten up soon on the highly persistent finish. In sum, this possesses simply terrific potential. (Drink starting 2022)" AM for BH Apr 2013
VM94 "Good deep red. Unusually closed and less exotic than usual on the nose for this cuvee , hinting at crushed raspberry and Oriental spices, with notes of leather, mocha and minerals emerging with air. Concentrated and sweet, boasting a wonderfully sappy core of raspberry and mineral flavors. The very supple tannins arrive quite late and spread out to dust the palate. The superb rising finish perfumes the mouth. A beauty, but hands off for at least five or six years." ST for VM Apr 2013
