AG98 "The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is positively stellar. Dark fruit, savory herbs, leather, licorice and menthol race out of the glass. Powerful and vertical, with serious intensity, the 2021 is a super-classic Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon. All the elements are so well balanced. Graphite, incense and a whole range of mineral/savory tones linger on the brooding finish. Specifically, the tannins are incredibly refined—quite an achievement for this site. LP97+ "The 2021 Farella Cabernet Sauvignon, with 5% Merlot in the blend, is deep garnet-purple in color. It rolls out with playful notes of blueberry compote, chocolate mint, and blackcurrant jelly followed by hints of iris bulb, allspice, and vanilla pod.
