Product Description
JS98 "An intense nose of ripe blackberry, blueberry, vanilla, clove and sandalwood. It’s full-bodied and so juicy with a wealth of ripe black fruit and layers of sweet spices. Ripe, velvety tannins and a long finish. Already impressive, but deserves a few years to develop. Drink from 2022." JS Dec 2020
RP97 "Realm took over the management of the Farella vineyard from 2018 with a view to eventually assume possession of the property. Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Farella Vineyard is their first "Estate" wine from the vineyard. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes bounding out of the glass with youthful notes of fresh black plums, Morello cherries, ripe blackcurrants and Black Forest cake plus hints of cumin seed, damp earth and spice box with subtle hints of tobacco and new leather. Medium to full-bodied, it has a solid foundation of fir, grainy tannins and lovely freshness supporting the bright, crunchy fruit, finishing long with a provocative, lifted perfume. Note that no 2017 Farella Vineyard was made." LPB for TWA Oct 2020
