RP94 "A complex nose of subtle menthol intermixed with black currants, cherries, spice box, cedar, and herbs emerges from this fully mature 1990. It is a fleshy, round, generously endowed Margaux with silky tannins, low acidity, and beautiful purity." RP Jun 2009

It strides confidently from the glass with classic, mature scents of cigar box, new leather, celery seed, and rusty nails, leading to a core of dried figs, plum preserves, and rose oil.
