2006 Ramonet - Burghound - Tasted: Oct 01, 2008: A reticent, indeed almost taciturn mint, pear and freshly cut green apple-infused nose slides gracefully into round, supple and nicely detailed middle weight flavors that need plenty of air to really show the flavor authority that one normally associates with this wine as initially it seems neither focused nor sufficiently concentrated to deliver what one generally expects from this wine. Happily, with 30 minutes or so of air (I recommend decanting it), the real personality emerges and both the intense Puligny character and the length finally come out to play. This is presently a baby and it needs at least 3 to 5 years to really arrive at its apogee and it should drink well for at least a decade, perhaps longer.
