AG95 Togni's 1999 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate is a dark, virile wine. Scorched earth, herbs, licorice, smoke, espresso and tobacco infuse the 1999 with tons of power, but there is striking inner sweetness here as well. Soft tannins make the 1999 a real pleasure to taste today. I imagine the 1999 has at least another decade of prime drinking ahead. This is such a gorgeous and immensely pleasing wine today.
