"Perhaps now that Togni’s daughter, Lisa, is working at the winery, there is an ongoing effort to make the wines more friendly at an earlier age. Certinaly the 2007 seems to suggest that. My aging curves are not exaggerated, but many of Togni’s early wines, such as the still monumental 1969 Chapellet, are still remarkable wines at age 40, having just gone through their adolescence!"
