RP95 From a north-facing parcel, the young 2009 Pinot Noir Ma Danseuse is less evolved than either the 2010 or 2011, but that has more to do with the vintage style than anything else. It displays abundant fruit, sassafras, raspberry, black currant and meaty aromas intermixed with a notion of bouquet garni. Dense, medium to full-bodied, youthful and vibrant, it will benefit from another 1-2 years of bottle age, and keep for a decade.
WS95 Fragrant wilted rose and black cherry scents are complex, vibrant, elegant and deeply perfumed in this medium-bodied red, with touches of rich wild berry and raspberry. Ends with a delicate, minerally aftertaste that lingers with snappy berry notes. Drink now through 2017. 530 cases made.
