Product Description
JA97 "This is generous and yet given definition and character by the saline twist and pulse of electicity and minerality that shoots through the palate. Blackberry, cassis, soy, charcoal, crushed stone, orange peel, juicy on the finish. Higher alcohols at this point but effortlessly balanced by the fresh acidities and supple tannins. Part of the warm vintages series within this vertical. 80% new oak." JA for IB Jan 2022
WS96 "This is a "wow" wine, with a stunning display of plum, blackberry and raspberry confiture aromas and flavors, allied to a dense but very velvety structure. Licorice, violet and plum cake notes fill in the background. Everything carries through the long, lush finish until the fine chalky minerality finally appears, adding remarkable finesse to this otherwise explosive display. Hard not to drink now, but this will cruise in the cellar." JM for WS Mar 2015
