DR99 "This is opulent, exotic, succulent and crowd-pleasing and currently jumping out of the glass. It’s a brilliant example of how good Bordeaux rewards patience as this has taken its time to settle in and open up but is powering ahead right now. There is a brambly texture to the fruit with touches of iron filings and cigar box along with immensely ripe tannins and fresh acidity that combine to produce a truly great Palmer with clear appellation signature and a long life expectancy.
