Product Description
RP 96 "The 2010 is another wine of great intensity but coiled, very tight, with high levels of tannin. Sensational in extraction and rchness, this blend of 72% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon is the product of a cool year in Napa. It shows fabulous density, richness, and intensity. Perhaps it will evolve somewhat like the brilliant 2005 has, but it is still excruciatingly young, intense, promising, but needs to be forgotten for at least another 4-5 years and drunk over the following two decades... The Right Bank Proprietary Red is Scott Palazzo’s largest production wine, with about 1500 cases made. When I saw Palazzo, he was generous enough to invite me for a full vertical. Normally this wine tends to run two-thirds Merlot, about one-fifth Cabernet Franc and the rest Cabernet Sauvignon, but more specific percentages are listed in my tasting notes. (RP)" (August 2015)
