JD100 "Another perfect wine from this team is the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon True Vineyard, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a site on Howell Mountain. Revealing a deep purple hue as well as incredible purity in its cassis, violets, graphite, and minty herb-like aromatics, this massive, full-bodied wine hits that palate with a dense, opulent mouthfeel, tons of velvety tannins, and flawless overall balance. I wrote in my notes that this would age forever, and I certainly suspect this wine will outlive me. Given its sheer wealth of fruit as well as its balance and purity, it offers ample pleasure today, but I'd nevertheless hide bottles for 4-6 years if possible. It should have 50 years of longevity."
