Product Description
RP95 The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard has a dense ruby/purple color, beautiful nose of crème de cassis and spring flowers in a rather classic, full-bodied, very ripe, pure and layered style. This is top-flight Napa Cabernet Sauvignon with wonderful texture and knockout aromatics; soft enough (as most 2012s are) to be drunk now or cellared for 15 or more years.
JD95 Another winner is the 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Three Twins Vineyard, which comes from a hillside site in St. Helena above Lake Hennessy. This quintessential Cabernet (it’s 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is still youthful and vibrant, with a rocking nose of blackcurrants, smoke tobacco, Asian spice, cedarwood, and graphite that develops beautifully with time in the glass. Full-bodied, concentrated, and balanced, with ripe tannins and a great finish, it’s another stunning Cabernet Sauvignon from Mike Smith to enjoy over the coming 20 years or more.
