2007 Jacques-Frederic Mugnier, Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru, Les Fuees, Bottle (750ml)

Product Description

"There is a vague wisp of menthol to the red and black berry aromas that exhibit some secondary development along with wet stone and herbal nuances. There is plenty of the hallmark minerality on the textured and ultra-pure medium-bodied flavors that possess fine verve and detail before culminating in a sleek, silky and sneaky long finish. This is a seriously pretty wine and while it doesn't have the sheer mid-palate concentration or complexity of the finest vintages, it is still a really lovely effort of finesse and refinement. For my taste this has largely arrived at its peak though it should have no trouble holding for another decade. I would note that I have had some bottle variation over the years with some examples seeming somewhat backward and less forthcoming while others seem fully mature." AM for BH Nov 2013
