Product Description
The under-valued millennial vintage can spring a few surprises. The 2000 Ruchottes has a vigorous bouquet which leaps from the glass with raspberry preserve, orange zest, black truffle and cold stone. There is a slight candied element here ? surprising considering the vintages. The palate is smooth and sensual with a sweet core of brambly red berry fruit. The tension is very commendable, although the harmonious finish still feels a little pinched, suggesting that it is worthy of another three or four years in bottle. Excellent!
