"The 2012 Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Vigne Rondes is endowed with considerable energy and pure vibrancy. Here the flavors are bold and direct yet also weightless. Dark red fruit, spice and new leather nuances are very much alive in the glass. "An attractively spicy nose also features aromas of pungently earthy dark berry fruit that includes cassis and plum. This also displays a really lovely mouth feel as the tannins are fine and there is plenty of palate coating dry extract that adds a sense of volume to the middle weight flavors as well as coats the palate on the mildly austere and highly complex finish.
