This is perhaps the ripest wine in the range with an unusually elegant m?lange of oak trimmed red and blue pinot fruit aromas nuanced by hints of violets and the expected pungent earth that is also picked up by the rich and particularly full flavors that possess a natural sweetness, which serves to buffer the classic youthful finishing austerity of a fine Clos de Vougeot.
