Product Description
LP94 "A blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 34% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot, the 2001 Montrose is medium to deep garnet in color, with a touch of brick. It opens a little broodily with slowly emerging, mature scents of cigar box, dusty soil, and iron ore, giving way to a core of redcurrant jelly and raspberry preserves, plus a hint of dried sage. The light to medium-bodied palate is mineral-laced and earthy, featuring lightly chewy tannins and bold freshness, finishing on a lingering ferrous note."
