BH "This still hasn't fully integrated all of its wood though its presence doesn't seem to materially inhibit the expressiveness of the ripe and still mostly primary aromas of both red and dark pinot fruit, spice, floral and hoisin. There is outstanding richness to the moderately concentrated though impressively powerful medium weight plus flavors that possess plenty of muscle while delivering excellent length on the very serious and ever-so-slightly rustic finale. Like the '05 Riche this also seems to lack a bit of vibrancy but that is a nit rather than a significant problem. I should further note that like many upper level '05s today this is nowhere near its peak and at least another 10 years will be required."
