BH94 "Pretty, ripe and very pure spicy red fruit aromas display moderate secondary development plus touches of earth and menthol still retain an attractive sense of freshness. Like many '95s are today there remains a certain reserved character to the otherwise firm, powerful and impressively well-concentrated flavors that possess an abundance of structure-buffering dry extract before terminating in a balanced and strikingly long finish. One of the aspects that I very much like about this is that it is clearly a creature of its vintage yet without any of the hardness that some '95s display. That said, this isn't one of the more refined vintages of the Meo Richebourg but the complexity, power, richness and sheer length are more than just impressive. For my taste I would continue cellaring this for another few years though if given sufficient time in a decanter it could certainly be drunk now. Consistent notes." AM Sep 2012
