Product Description
A markedly spicy nose features notes of earth, plum, cassis and soft floral nuances. There is excellent concentration to the powerful and intense middle weight flavors that also possess a velvety mouth feel before culminating in a balanced, dusty and hugely long finish. The supporting tannins are well-integrated and while this should amply reward longer-term cellaring it should also be approachable after only 7 to 8 years. In a word, terrific. (BH)" (January 2015)
