2006 Leroy Pommard Vignots - Wine Advocate #186 - Dec 2009: A site-typically smoky, "ferrous" pungency along with ripe dark cherry fruit rises from the glass of Leroy 2006 Pommard Les Vignots, which then comes to the palate subtly meat broth-like; persistently mineral; and brimming with juicy and ingratiating ripe fruit. This is one of those select Pommards of the vintage that has real spring in its step and elegant tannic attire.
