Le Bon Pasteur 1982 750mL (Top Shoulder)
Product Description
1982 Bon Pasteur - Wine Advocate # 95 - Oct 1994: Tasted 15 Times From 375 Ml, 750 Ml, And Magnum With Consistently Euphoric Notes The small vineyard (17 acres) has produced one wine of extraordinary dimensions. The 1982 Bon Pasteur continues to remind me of a 1947 Pomerol given its viscosity and opulent, flamboyant, exaggerated style. Unquestionably, it is the finest Bon Pasteur made to date. The black/purple color reveals only slight amber at the edge. The nose offers up huge, jammy aromas of black fruits, roasted nuts, and sweet oak. There is extraordinary richness and concentration, as well as a nectar-like essence. Although fully mature, this wine displays no signs of losing any of its lavish fruit. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.
