DR96 (Domaine des Comtes Lafon, Meursault, 1er Cru Porusots, Burgundy, France, White) Picked last among the Premiers Crus in 2018, this has a substantial amount of old vine material. Part of the Lafon range since 2011, but Dominique Lafon says that it's only now that he understands the vineyard. Racy, perfumed and a showing some classic struck match notes, with hints of aniseed and kitchen spices, stylish oak and impressive palate length.
