1998 Domaine Jacques Prieur, Musigny Grand Cru, Bottle (750ml)
1998 Alban - This too offers plenty of big, rich, and forward aromas of violets and intense black fruits. The flavors are large scaled but they lack a bit of flesh even though there is clearly grand cru breed and distinction. This is not a great Musigny but it should mature into a satisfying wine in 8 to 12 years.
