Product Description
RP96 While the 2006 is a somewhat lighter vintage Fortification, it is by no means a light vintage port-styled wine. It reveals a dense purple color as well as plenty of chocolaty, blackberry and blueberry notes along with subtle smoke, a hint of frying lard, and full-bodied, unctuously textured, thick, juicy flavors. Although not as riveting as the 2005 or 2004, nor the potentially legendary 2007, it is a powerful fortified wine. Drink: now-2050 - Robert Parker.
