"From the lieu-dit of Bas Mazières, this village wine reveals aromas of dark fruit, game bird and a subtle framing of new oak, followed by a full-bodied, juicy and open-knit palate with a touch of tannic chew on the back end. This suggests either less complete ripeness or some unintegrated barrel tannin, vis-à-vis the suave Chambolle village wine. (Drink between 2022-2035)" WK for DR Oct 2017
