Product Description
DR96 "This wine made by Alain Hudelot demonstrates the continuity of this grand estate. Twenty-five years after the vintage, it is now showing a bit of maturity, but the first impression is primary fruit, with a bouquet of red currants and black plum coloured now with spice, game, and smoke. The tannins are silky but still support the wine and carry it to a subtle finish. The grapes come from a marvellous half-hectare parcel in the centre of Romanée-St-Vivant that was planted in 1920" DR Sept. 2023
