Product Description
JS97 "Fabulous floral aromas of currants, flowers, stones and rosemary stem. Purity. Full body with a fabulous backbone of chewy tannins with a gorgeous austerity. Elegance with power. This needs at least three or four more years." JS Oct 2014
LP96 "Deep garnet in color, the 2011 Harlan Estate trots confidently out of the glass with scents of blackberry pie, mulberries, and redcurrant jelly giving way to nuances of sandalwood, bay leaves, dried lavender, and graphite. The medium to full-bodied palate is still very youthful, with plenty of emerging tertiary baking spice flavors and a lightly chewy texture, finishing with a lively mineral lift."
AG96 "The 2011 Harlan Estate is a real stunner. Still fresh and vibrant, the 2011 is a magically beautiful wine. It is, naturally, more small-scaled. Crushed flowers, sweet red dry fruit, tobacco, cedar and mint notes are super classy. The 2011 has enough freshness to drink well for another 10-15 years. It's fabulous achievement."
