DR94 "1991 is considered a poor vintage in Piedmont, crops were light, and wines were categorised as those that should be drunk young. In including this wine, Gaja wanted to demonstrate the strength of terroir and their winemaking by showing this wine at 32 years of age. It's showing authentic elegance with floral aromatics and notes of pine resin. Fruit and minerality drive a remarkably airy, fresh wine on the palate.
