RP96 "The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Sigaro is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 100% new French oak for 20 months prior to being bottled. This is a beautiful wine, like so many 2013s, with an inky purple color, restrained, but intense and ripe notes of blackberry and cassis, along with licorice, graphite, and loamy, earthy undertones. The wine has fabulous concentration, beautiful purity, adequate acidity and a long, long finish. This is a terrific wine from a vineyard near the Melbury Vineyard of Bond Estates.
