Product Description
Domaine Dujac, Vosne-Romanee Premier Cru, Aux Malconsorts
RP 96+ "Domaine Dujac's 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Malconsorts is one of the highlights of a superb range, bursting from the glass with aromas of blackberry, cassis, plum, rose petal, licorice and spice. Despite its aromatic flamboyance, on the palate the wine is controlled—even reserved—with immense concentration and a bottomless core, its tannins fine-grained but firm, asserting themselves on the finish. The overriding impression is of depth and substance, but this Malconsorts is clearly shutting down; those with the patience to cellar it for a decade or more will reap the rewards." April 2018 VM96 "The 2015 Vosne-Romanée Aux Malconsorts 1er Cru has a gorgeous bouquet whose only fault is that it will be difficult to resist in its youth. Copious red cherry and wild strawberry fruit lace with minerals, superb delineation and focus - this is a Malconsort that oozes confidence. The palate is medium-bodied but there is more density and volume here compared to previous vintages. The stem addition discretely interwoven with the fruit lending a light sous-bois note towards the sustained finish, and a tingle of spice on the aftertaste. Brilliant. Tasted at Flint Wines's Domaine Dujac tasting in London." May 2018
