"A much more deeply pitched nose is comprised of abundant earth and sauvage characters on the dark berry fruit and violet-suffused aromas. There is fine richness and even better power to the solidly well-concentrated but also well-delineated flavors that are underpinned by ripe tannins and very fine length on the dusty, mouth coating and lingering finish. This is firm but not to the point of austerity and this should drink well after only 5 to 7 years of bottle age if desired. In a word, excellent." AM for BH Jan 2016
