Product Description
DR95 " The Grands-Echezeaux is more brooding and reserved on the nose than the Echezeaux, opening with notes of cassis, currant leaf, black cherry, liquorice and dark spice. On the palate, the wine is fuller-bodied, deeper and more layered, with a lovely sense of completeness, but still comparatively primary and backward. Indeed, the domaine is considering extending this cuvée’s élevage by several months. A terrific rendition of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti’s most underrated wine." WK for DR Oct 2017
