DR98 "DRC Grands Echézeaux has a reputation for being among their most long-lived wines. The impressive density and power here take nothing away from the lush, complex cassis fruit with its notes of mineral, spice, smoke, and wild herbs. The warm, sunny vintage has produced a wine that is starting to open, and is approachable even now.
