1982 Dom Perignon, Bottle (750ml)

1982 Dom Perignon - Hedonist's Gazette - May 2007: Our dinner was nicely prepared with considerable creativity and service was impeccable at the venerable Baltimore Country Club. The assortment of hand-passed hors doeuvres was accompanied by a magnum of 1982 Dom Perignon and a 1998 Dom Perignon. Sadly, the normally superb 1990 Dom Perignon Rose was corked. The 1982, from a great Champagne vintage, remains in fine form with superb concentration and the secondary nuances of a 25 years old wine. By contrast, the 1998 is merely pleasant.
