In a vintage in which so many wines are big and structured, the Helms stands out for its seamless fruit, silky tannins and superb purity. While the wine clearly has the power of the vintage, there is virtually no sensation of tannin. There is absolutely nothing out of balance in this stunning, virtuosic wine.
