Product Description
RP98 "The red from El Tamboril vineyard, the 2016 El Tamboril Tinto is the real revelation from this tasting, even if the 2016 Rumbo al Norte was clearly the best wine. The Tinto is sharp, yet elegant red, with the soul of a white, which comes from the same vineyard where the white version is produced, at 1,230 meters altitude. It has lots of fennel and aniseed, hints of a cool Atlantic climate, with only 12.80% alcohol. It's narrow and tight, immensely mineral, long and tasty. Mind-boggling. There is no 2017 because of hail, but the wine should come back with the 2018 release when they harvested beautiful grapes. 640 bottles were filled in March 2018. The price for this wine has not yet been set." LG for TWA Dec 2018
