A touch of wood frames a maturing nose of secondary fruit, spice, earth and hints of dried rose petal leads to dense and quite serious middle weight flavors that possess a taut muscularity and plenty of palate soaking dry extract that really coats the mouth on the gorgeously long and impeccably well-balanced finish. This is a stunner of a Malconsorts that has just arrived on the front edge of its peak drinkability and as such, it should continue to provide much pleasure and satisfaction for years to come. In a word, terrific. Tasted several times with consistent notes.
