A ripe but brooding nose of dark berry fruit liqueur aromas display added breadth in the form of violets, plum, black cherry and a hint of the sauvage. There is plenty of earth influence to the punchy, rich and well-detailed mineral-inflected broad-shouldered flavors that possess some rusticity on the moderately austere finish.
