Product Description

RP98 The first vintage of this label coming exclusively from Tench vineyard in an Oakville hillside above Screaming Eagle and below Dalla Valle, the 2013 Proprietary Red EE Tench Vineyard is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Cabernet Franc. Deep garnet-purple, it explodes from the glass with an atomic mushroom cloud of baked black plums, blackcurrant cordial, Morello cherries and Indian spices with suggestions of smoked meats, underbrush, tree bark and dusty soil. Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it has a solid frame of firm, grainy tannins and compelling tension, finishing long and ferrous. 400 cases were made.
